A fast, flavourful midweek dinner with tender beef and crisp veg.
Ingredients
- 400g beef strips
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp oil
- Black pepper
Method
- Mix soy, oyster sauce and honey; set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok and sear the beef until browned; remove.
- Stir fry onion, pepper, garlic and ginger for 2–3 minutes.
- Return beef to the pan and pour in the sauce.
- Cook for 1–2 minutes until glossy.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
