Crispy, spicy and addictive — the perfect Chinese style fakeaway side.
Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, cut into chips
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp Chinese five spice
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp oil
Method
- Cook chips in the oven or air fryer until crisp.
- Fry onion, pepper and garlic in a little oil.
- Add five spice, chilli flakes, salt and pepper.
- Toss the cooked chips through the seasoning mix.
- Serve immediately.
