A creamy, mildly spiced curry that tastes like a takeaway classic.
Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast or thigh
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 2 tbsp tikka curry paste
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- 200ml cream or coconut milk
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt & pepper
Method
- Fry onion, garlic and ginger until soft.
- Add tikka paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Add chicken and coat in the spices.
- Pour in tomatoes and simmer until cooked.
- Stir in cream and garam masala.
- Season and serve.
