Ingredients

  • 500g beef mince
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 sheet shortcrust pastry
  • Salt & pepper

Pastry

  • 250g plain flour
  • 125g butter
  • 1-3 tbsp milk or water
  • pinch salt

Method

  1. Fry mince and onion.
  2. Add potatoes, stock cube and Worcestershire.
  3. Add a splash of water and simmer until potatoes soften.
  4. Fill a pie dish, top with pastry and bake at 200°C for 25–30 minutes.
