A creamy, mildly spiced curry that tastes like a takeaway classic.

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast or thigh
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 2 tbsp tikka curry paste
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  • 200ml cream or coconut milk
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt & pepper

Method

  1. Fry onion, garlic and ginger until soft.
  2. Add tikka paste and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add chicken and coat in the spices.
  4. Pour in tomatoes and simmer until cooked.
  5. Stir in cream and garam masala.
  6. Season and serve.
