Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 6 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp thyme
- 200ml chicken stock
- Salt & pepper
Method
- Rub the chicken with oil, herbs, salt and pepper.
- Add lemon slices and garlic to the slow cooker.
- Place chicken on top and pour in the stock.
- Cook on LOW 6–7 hours.
- Grill briefly to crisp the skin.
- Serve with the lemony cooking juices.
