A quick, creamy pasta dish using sausages for big flavour with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 250g linguine
  • 4–5 sausages, skins removed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 150ml cream or crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1 tbsp tomato purée
  • Salt & pepper

Method

  1. Cook linguine according to the packet.
  2. Fry sausage meat, breaking it into small pieces.
  3. Add onion and garlic; cook until soft.
  4. Stir in tomato purée and herbs.
  5. Add cream and simmer until thickened.
  6. Toss the pasta through the sauce and season.
